Design Features of mechanical drawworks
All bearings are roller bearings. Shafts of drawworks are made of alloy steel.
Chains with forced lubrication can transmit with high accuracy and high strength.
Drum of drawworks is grooved. Ventilating air clutches constitute the high and low speed ends.
Brake drum (brake disc) is forcedly cooled with circulating water.
Drawworks surface is intermediate-frequency quenching-treated, and is durable.
Tooth profile of sprocket is intermediate-frequency quenching-treated. Involute-spline-tooth type clutch is used as shifting clutch.
Main brake is band brake or disk brake, auxiliary brake is Electromagnetic eddy current brake (water-cooled or air-cooled).

Drilling winch is actually a heavy lifting machinery, common winch consists of the following systems:

1, support system: by the welded frame type bracket or closed box shell type base frame.
2, transmission system: composed of three shafts, namely, drive shaft, cathead shaft, drum shaft.
3,Control system: including dental, tooth and pneumatic clutches, drilling console and control valve parts.
4,Braking system: i.e. brake system, including brake handle, brake band, main brake, auxiliary brake, etc.
5, winch system: including the main drum, vice drum, various catheads and other hoisting rope devices.
6, lubrication and cooling system: lubrication methods are grease, drip oil, splash or forced lubrication and so on.

Function:
1)Lifting and lowering drilling tools and casing;

2)Control the drilling pressure during the drilling process and feed in the drilling tools;

3)Using the cat's head to lift and unload drilling tool threads, lifting heavy objects, and performing other auxiliary work;

4)Acting as a variable speed mechanism or intermediate transmission mechanism for a turntable;

5)Integrated lifting and lowering of the mast
