Product Description

Installation of New Pump
Before delivering the F drilling pumps to oil fields, they are completely assembled and tested under work loads in factories of our Company. Lubrication oil is discharged from the power end.
Before pump exploitation all assembling and inspecting operations must be carried out under the following precaution measures. In order to protect bodily injury during maintenance or inspection the equipment must be shut down, and all protecting devices on the driving motor and transmitting devices must be put at the safety position.
1) Pump Installation
For drilling pump of series LSF the base may be used for installing pumps of any type. However it should be noted, that the power end framework of box structure though has pretty high bending strength, but its twisting strength is relatively low. Therefore the substructure under pump must be horizontal and have enough strength to support pump weight and running load of the pump.
2) Installation on ground
During installing on ground 8 piece 76×305mm of supporting plates are needed to put under the pump base with their length along the length direction of the base. See Fig.1 for the locations of the plates. The substructure under supporting plates must be wider than the pump base for 300mm and more. In marsh or dampness area more strength base is needed.
3) Permanent Installation
Install drilling pump on the steel structure base or cement base of drilling ship or drilling platform, secure the pump base with bolts. At this moment the drilling pump base must be well supported by bed timbers to prevent possible twist or decline of the power end framework. The drilling pump base must set well on all bed timbers when all bolts are loose.
When installing drilling pump is carried out on the drilling ship, the drilling pump base is usually connected on T type beam by bolts. The locations of bed timbers are illustrated in Fig.1 and Fig.2 .Be careful that supporting must be done well in order to prevent twist or decline of the drilling pump base. Length of bed timber must be greater than the width of the T type steel beam, and minimal length is 305mm.
