Purpose and area of application

The drilling pump is the pump module that receives the cleaned drilling fluid from the circulation system and then delivers it through the high-pressure manifold to the discharge line of the drilling rig. The equipment included in the pumping module shall be factory assembled as much as possible. The base of the pumping module is the frame (metal structure) of the drilling pump. Each drilling pump is equipped with its own frame, on which the pump electric drive, pump lubrication and irrigation system, suction line support system are mounted.

The crank shaft is alloy steel casting and furnished withring gear, connecting rod and bearings etc.The tooth formof the ring gear is herring bone teeth. The ring gear bore and the crank shaft surface are interference fitted and they are both fastened with bolts and locking nuts. The largeend of the connecting rod is mounted on three eccentric straps of the crank shaft through single row short cylindrical roller bearing and the bearing.
