Roller Kelly bushing is one of the essential equipment for oil drilling and production operations. It is placed in a large bushing and its function is to transmit the torque transmitted from the rotary table to the downhole drilling tools.
The roller kelly bushing is driven in two ways: square drive and pin shaft drive; According to API Spec 7K specification for square drill pipes; It is divided into four directions and six directions, mainly composed of upper cover, lower cover, shaft, roller, fastening bolt, sealing body, etc.
The roller square bushing is equipped with four rollers, which are equipped with needle roller bearings. The roller is fastened by a shaft between the upper and lower covers. There are sealing bodies at both ends of the roller to prevent drilling fluid from infiltrating. To prevent the sealing body from rotating, a stop pin is installed on the sealing body.
The roller shaft is fixed by four M38 bolts, with a tightening torque of 2KN. m. The top of the four large bolts are fixed together with the nuts using four hexagonal bolts to prevent loosening.
