All bearings are roller bearings. Shafts of draw works are made of alloy steel. Chains with forced lubrication can transmit with high accuracy and high strength. The drum of draw works is grooved. Ventilating air clutches constitute the high and low-speed ends. The brake drum (brake disc) is forcedly cooled with circulating water. Drawworks' surface is intermediate-frequency quenching-treated and is durable. The tooth profile of the sprocket is intermediate-frequency quenching-treated. Involute-spline-tooth type clutch is used as a shifting clutch. The main brake is a band brake or disk brake, and the auxiliary brake is an Electromagnetic eddy current brake (water-cooled or air-cooled).
