Product Description

Safety Clamps are tools used for handling flush joint pipe and drill collars. The Safety Clamp is composed of individual links that are flexibly hinged together. Each link has a separate tapered slip which serves as a gripping member, much like a tapered rotary slip. Each slip is held in a retracted position on the taper by spring tension. There are three types of safety clamps: Type WA-T, Type WA-C, and Type MP.
