Mud Pump Pulsation Dampener This sophisticated pneumatic device, seamlessly integrated into the outflow line of each UUD pump, expertly mitigates pressure fluctuations caused by pump action. Often mistaken for a surge tank, it is, in fact, a finely-tuned instrument that significantly reduces output pulsations from the mud pump. Be advised, the dampener's efficiency is influenced by both pump pressure and pulsation frequency, requiring precise calibration for optimal performance.
Volume: 10 ~ 20 gal. This range ensures adaptability to various operational needs.
Pressure: 3000 ~ 5000 psi, a robust capacity that guarantees exceptional dampening effectiveness.
API 7K Pulsation Dampener
* A pulsation damper is an accumulator with a fixed precharge that absorbs system shocks while minimizing pulsations, pipe
vibrations, water hammer and pressure fluctuations.
* By minimizing pulsations in system components such as regulators, solenoids, sensors, etc., the pump will reduce wear and extend
service life.
* Pulsation dampers are attached directly to the discharge manifold or installed directly downstream of the pump.
* We offer a wide range of Drilling and Production Spherical Pulsation Dampers.
* Volume sizes range from 10 gallons to 20 gallons and pressure ranges from 3000 psi to 7500 psi.
* The body of the spherical pulsation damper is constructed from a one-piece steel forging, eliminating the possibility of weld
fatigue failure.
* They are interchangeable with Hydril Series "K" dampers, Emsco Series "PD" dampers and Bomco Series "KB" dampers.
* These devices connect reliably and reliably via API.
