Annular BOP is an important part of the well control devices. It is mainly used to control the wellhead pressure in the drilling, well work over and oil testing, effectively preventing from the blowout accident sand working in safety.

Annular BOP can only be used when equipped with BOP hydraulic control device, it is usually used with ram BOP or separately. Sealing element has spherical and conical type.

The blowout preventer is used to close the wellhead during oil testing, workover, completion and other operations to prevent blowout accidents. It combines the two functions of full seal and half seal. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy operation, high pressure resistance, etc. , It is a safety seal wellhead device commonly used in oil fields to prevent blowouts. During oil drilling, it is installed on the wellhead casing head to control high-pressure oil, gas, and water blowout devices. When the oil and gas pressure in the well is high, the blowout preventer can close the wellhead (shut down). When the heavy mud is pressed into the drill pipe, there is a four-way under the ram, which can replace the mud invaded by gas, increase the pressure of the liquid column in the well, and suppress the ejection of high-pressure oil and gas.

Specification:

Our API 16A hydril annular BOP can be used in workover and drilling operations equipped with hydril control systems. The BOPs are designed and manufactured in full conformity to the API 16A standard. The annular BOP mainly consists of a body, a header, a rubber core, and a piston. The inner rubber core is interchangeable. While the annular BOP can be used independently, it normally works with a single or a double BOP. It can seal the drilling tool or wellbore efficiently, preventing oil well blowouts. Its anti H2S performance conforms to the NACE MR 0175 standard.
