A well repair or workover drilling rig is the most basic and primary source of power in well repair and downhole operations. According to its operating structure, it can be divided into two forms: track type and tire type.
1.Classified by walking chassis: vehicle mounted, self-propelled.
2.Classified by power: single engine (citing chassis power source), dual engine (using an engine installed on the platform as the power source), electric (installing an electric motor on the platform), dual power (installing an engine and electric motor on the platform).
3.Classification by mast Type: Single Section mast, Double Section mast.
4.Classified by function: workover rig, dual purpose drilling and workover rig, desert workover rig, mudflat workover rig, inclined well workover rig, blowout prevention workover rig.
5.Classified by structural type: double drum well repair machine, non tension rope well repair machine, and non pressure well repair machine.
6.Classified by increased load: 20t, 30t, 40t, 80t, 100t, 120t, 150t, 180t, 225t.
According to its operating structure, it can be divided into two forms: track type and tire type.
Crawler type workover rigs are generally not equipped with masts and have good off-road performance, making them suitable for construction in low-lying and muddy areas.
Tire type workover rigs are generally equipped with backmounted masts, which have fast walking speed, high construction efficiency, and are suitable for rapid relocation needs. However, walking and entering the well site are relatively limited in low-lying and muddy areas, as well as in rainy and mud turning seasons.
