ABOP comprises body, upper housing, seal, dust-proof ring, and piston. It offers rugged, reliable prevention, and easy service, widely used offshore and onshore.
ABOP is compact, seals any size of kellys, drill pipe, tool joints, drill collars, casing, or wireline. It provides positive pressure control for stripping drill pipe.
ABOP is manufactured according to API 16A and NACE MR0175, with temperature T20 and standard nitrile packing element from 40°F to 170°F.
1. Rubber core - large glue volume, small friction, switch pressure sealing.
2. Hemispherical head - no stress concentration, even casing stress, easy to tear open.
3. Piston - short stroke, low height, with wear ring.
4. Long-life seal - positive seal after hundreds of tests to full pressure.
5. Strong, simple construction - 5 major parts, simplified maintenance.
6. Sealing design - long stripping life.
7. High sulfate-resistant BOP - internal parts surfacing high nickel alloy, resistant to H2S, CO2.
